I had the pleasure of interviewing Bheki. A famous face of iKhokha – both online and at the office. Bheki, Bheks and Bheki-licious, as he is known, has energy that electrifies the workplace.
Let’s get into conversation with Bheki.
Tell everyone, “who is Bheki”?
Bheki is a short proudly South African dude all the way from the dusty streets of uMhlabuyalingana (he laughs out loud). Well, I love sports, partying and hanging out with my two beautiful girls.
What’s your role at iKhokha?
I am a Logistics Specialist.
Who is Bheki outside of iKhokha?
I am a funny person that you can enjoy hanging out with – anytime, any day. Some may say I’m the life of the party (he rolls over laughing). Most importantly, I am the proud father of two girls.
What’s your biggest strength?
I think it has to be the fact that I can make people laugh. It eases them up and they tend to be themselves. Oh, and I’m super smart. I moonlight for Comedy Central haha. Hey, all my friends do say that I’ve got a great attitude and I’m really easy to talk to.
What’s the name of the last book you read?
Who Moved My Cheese by Johnson Spencer.
Your advice to yourself on how to handle a stressful situation?
Whenever you’re in a stressful situation, you should breathe in and out and think of ways to get out of that problem. Firstly, you should be able to identify the main reason for the stress. Then, what are the possible ways to make things right. What do you stand to gain or benefit? THEN find a solution.
If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
Proudly yellow.
If you were famous, what would you be famous for?
Probably…a really great comedy haha.
Describe iKhokha in one word?
Family.
